Qamari & Caseem

Qamari and Caseem met as kids in Brooklyn, NY at the tender ages of 3 and 7 through their parents. They would lose touch and reconnect some years later at 10 and 14 when Caseem's parents decided to come back to the US after his father retired from the Armed Forces. They decided to relocate in Charlotte, NC where Qamari and her family moved to when she was just 5 years old. Qamari was eager to have her friend back and show him all that he missed while he was experiencing and learning new cultures all the while. Caseem was excited as well! They had that brotherly and sisterly love and it showed!! He got on her nerves and vice versa.

As time went by the two matured and watched each other grow. It wasn’t until 2014 when on the eve of Qamari's birthday that they sat and talked for hours leading into her birthday realizing they had so much in common. From that day on they were inseparable… they decided to make things official that July as they felt it was the right time. Fast forward 6 years later…

On June 16th, 2020 Caseem proposed to Qamari at 3 pm, the exact time of her birth. Qamari was over the moon to say the least. They've had quiet an incredible journey thus far and can’t wait for their new adventures as husband and wife. They can’t wait to share their “Love Story" with their children one day.

They are excited about being able to share their special moment with friends and family in Costa Rica! Caseem thought it would also be a great way to honor Qamari’s heritage. What better way than to celebrate their love and commitment to each other!
